Plan with visible assumptions
RetireCalc connects a starting balance with spending, contributions, return and inflation assumptions. Its tools are educational models, not personal financial recommendations.
Use money lasts to estimate a withdrawal timeline, or monthly withdrawals to solve for a chosen duration. The Roth comparison uses dated federal tax brackets. All tools and guides includes employer-plan projections and worked examples.
How the work is checked
The methodology publishes formulas, timing conventions and source dates. Automated tests cover ordinary cases, boundaries and invalid inputs. Those checks verify arithmetic; investment returns remain assumptions.
